Core
Core is a powerful volumetric light installation that transforms the energy of electronic music into a fully immersive visual experience. Originally commissioned for the ELECTRO exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris, this groundbreaking work was created by 1024 architecture in collaboration with iconic DJ and producer Laurent Garnier.
At the heart of the installation lies a 3x3x3-meter cube composed of 81 LED bars. This geometric structure pulses, flickers, and evolves in real time, synchronized with a six-hour audio journey tracing the evolution of electronic music—from the roots of Detroit techno to the peaks of European rave culture.
Driven by a cutting-edge spatial sound and lighting system, Core translates rhythm into architecture, rendering invisible sound waves into sculptural waves of light. Accompanied by an exclusive original track titled Reboot, the installation becomes a multisensory homage to techno’s cultural legacy, merging sound, space, and emotion.
Core stands as a monumental fusion of digital art, sound design, and architectural innovation—a striking testament to how music can inhabit and transform physical space.
