Developed by 1024 architecture, this 8.1-meter-long kinetic light installation is inspired by the synchronized movement of myriapods—such as millipedes—and the elegant patterns of metachronal rhythm found in nature.
Constructed from 13 modular cubes and 24 glowing "legs," Metachronal translates the wave-like locomotion of biological systems into an algorithmically driven performance of light and form. The result is a captivating display of fluid, coordinated motion, pulsing with the energy of a living organism.
