Space XY

An immersive half-spherical experience
Audiovisual full dome performance

Space XY is a groundbreaking 360° fulldome audiovisual performance created by 1024 architecture. Designed as an immersive journey through speculative science and cosmic architecture, this real-time, generative experience places the viewer at the heart of an ever-evolving simulation where digital space becomes both stage and narrative.

Premiered at the Mapping Festival in Geneva, Space XY transforms the interior of a hemispherical projection dome into a portal through time, matter, and imagination. The work draws on advanced physical theories—including Dyson spheres, quantum field dynamics, and space-time geometries—merging them with science-fiction aesthetics to build a hypnotic, data-driven universe.

As the visuals shift and fold in real time, spectators are no longer passive observers but become interstellar navigators, drifting through synthetic celestial structures and impossible architectures. Each frame responds to a custom generative engine, ensuring that every viewing experience is unique. Light, sound, and movement converge to create a total artwork, immersing the body and mind in a poetic simulation of scientific wonder.

Space XY stands at the crossroads of immersive design, digital scenography, and speculative world-building. It pushes the boundaries of audiovisual art and questions our perception of scale, reality, and the cosmos. By blending the rigor of theoretical physics with the fluidity of artistic imagination, 1024 architecture invites audiences to inhabit the unknown—and dream in 360 degrees.
