La Fabrique de la ville is a project by the archaeological department of the city of Saint-Denis to transform one of their sites of interest into an educational platform, accessible to the public. Commissioned by the Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (CIAP), 1UP Mushroom is a contemporary, dotted chapiteau casing a 12th-century construction. Inspired by Mario Bross and Tintin's story The Mysterious Star, this architectural sculpture places the archaeological site in its own time.
