Core

The installation's title refers to the computer processors, as well as to the visual and scenographic digital components used by most electronic musicians in concert. On a platform, a multitude of LED light bars is tilted slightly towards the audience. These dynamic volumes of light materialize the music sound waves into luminous vibrations.

Core premiered at the Electro exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2019, resonating with the sound creations of DJ and composer Laurent Garnier. The installation invites us to experience the dynamic spatiality of the interaction between light and sound.
