Tangent is a scenographic device and kinetic installation designed for the HABITER le CAMPEMENT exhibition at the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris.
Tangent interrogates the notion of displacement inherent in any encampment situation, and transcribes it dynamically, metaphorically, and poetically into space through light and sound. Inscribing oneself on a tangent means positioning oneself differently, choosing another direction, a vector, or a trajectory.
